I'm Charlie. the heart and hands working hard behind the scenes of Charlies cards 4 U! I'm a small independent business specialising in personalised greetings cards and wedding stationery in Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire - but I do ship all over the UK. 

I make handmade cards for the special moments and milestones that matter. The ones that deserve more than a supermarket, store bought generic card.

What I Make

Every card in my shop is designed, personalised, hand inked and hand sculpted right here at my desk. No factories. No templates. Just paper, ink, and a bit too much lemonade!

You’ll find cards for:  

•  Birthdays & milestones: 18ths, 30ths, the “we survived another year” anniversaries  

•  Weddings & new babies: With space for names, dates, and the details that make it theirs  

•  Just because: For the “saw this and thought of you” moments that actually matter most  

•  Sympathy & support: When words are hard, but showing up isn’t

And yes — every design can be personalised. Add a name, date, inside message - Because “To a Special Niece” has never made anyone cry happy tears.

Why Handmade, Not High Street?

1.  It feels like you: Your message, in your words, in lettering that doesn’t exist anywhere else.  

2.  It gets kept: Customers tell me my cards live on mantelpieces and in memory boxes, not recycling bins.  

3.  It’s slower, on purpose: In a world of next-day everything, taking 10 minutes to choose a card for one person involves...effort. 

I started Charlies Cards 4 U because I was fed up of giving cards that felt like everyone else’s. Life’s big moments deserve better than generic. They deserve something made by a real person, for a real person.

How It Works

1.  Pick a design you love from the shop  

2.  Add personalisation — using the personalisation boxes provided. Add names, dates, your own words.  

3.  I make it by hand and post from Ashby de la Zouch, usually within 7 working days!
